Great rooms and very accommodating and helpful! We had originally booked into another hotel, that turned out to be horrible, even when we switched rooms. So we left abruptly and came to Econo Lodge and they were very accommodating and quick to get us settled. The room was much better than the original place we booked.
Diffently not what ypu think from the outside. Not going to lie looks a little shady.. but the rooms are nice, clean and roomy. You have to ask for towels and room service but other than that its a nice place. Internet was super fast. We never made it to breakfast but could smell it bacon smelled delicious. Pool looked amazing
The best experience I have ever had at a hotel. They made us feel like family. Always smiling faces. My kids keep saying they love Iowa and feel like we are home. Thanks to everyone for going above and beyond.
I definitely recommend staying there, My wife and I were extended stay guests for over a year And I must say it felt like home. The owners TJ and Katie are amazing people, That truly care about their customers any concern that may arise a do their absolute best to address it right away, and they give it a genuine effort to truly make you feel Comfortable and enjoy your stay. My wife and I were grateful for Opportunity to stay there and even more so the opportunity to be such amazing That over Over the course of time became friends, and Family.. Thank you We’re always making us feel welcomed and being a very nice part of life. We will definitely miss you.. But never forget you.. thank you TJ and Katie !!
The service is good , they just dont do it everyday. If you ask for it, they will clean. Big nice rooms, lounge chair with ottoman, very COMFORTABLE BED, and I'm a traveling welder so I got very good rates as well. I ONLY STAY HERE NOW IN ANKENY..
The facility is well located with access to many nearby stores and businesses. The hotel has spacious rooms and adequate amenities, it is clean and house keeping is on point. My only suggestion is about the breakfast, food choices are minimal, and is alway exact same boring choices, I was already not eating there by the 3rd day! There is an indoor pool but it was closed all 3 weeks that we stayed there, maybe due to their budget. The laundry facilities were out of service, which forces patrons to go somewhere else pretty far from hotel. Receptionists are very friendly and accomodating. I would give this hotel a solid 4.4 out of 5.
This hotel was better than expected for me and my group! I would stay again. The room was pretty clean and everything was in order and functional. The location is great for any I-80 travel. The breakfast is above & beyond with a waffle machine and other hot options like biscuits and gravy and eggs. The continental offerings were also all there. After reading through some other reviews, the hallway did have a slight musty smell, but that was the only negative for us.
